About

Matini aims to always deliver the highest quality, most effective engineering solutions ontime within budget and safely; whilst providing customers with the most efficient, seamless and value added service available.

Delivering engineering solutions and support services for UK plants, we repeatedly work for several blue-chip multi-nationals across the pharmaceutical industry.

Matini only employs highly qualified, customer focused engineers and owns a prefabrication facility helping to substantially reduce onsite disruption. Our reputation is for working closely with clients, to minimise process downtime and costs without compromising on installation quality.

The Team

Matini employs a core team of highly qualified, customer focused and specialist engineers. The team has worked together for several years and is used to meeting exacting standards.

Bobby May, Managing Director, has 35+ years specialist experience in pipe fabrication, installation, welding and validation. Prior to founding Matini, Bobby worked his way up from an apprentice to a leading installation engineer and held senior operational positions client-side, where he was responsible for leading engineering and installation teams.

Phil Jones, Director, oversees installation projects on site, from developmental liaison through to project completion. With 25+ years in the industry, his extensive knowledge ensures all Matini projects run smoothly and remain in budget.

Mitchell Holmes, Director, has been with the company for 15 years as on site coded fitter/welder and running projects, so his experience in running high purity pipework installations and maintenance engineering has enabled him to make the transfer into the office to undertake the compiling of documentation packages to support Matini’s on site pipework installations.

Cameron Jones, Director, has been with Matini for over 10 years as a coded fitter/welder and has now established himself as a foreman running projects on site overseeing labour, working closely with clients and been part of the team that provides high purity installations for the Pharmaceutical industries in the UK

Quality Assurance

We ensure our products and services always meet client requirements and comply with all applicable regulations.

Fully experienced with MHRA and FDA regulated environments and compliant with GEPs, cGMPs and PED, we exceed the minimum standards for pharmaceutical and process installations. All work is documented and validated to best practice procedures.

We adhere to the Health & Safety At Work Act 1974, and comply with all necessary environmental standards legislation. We operate a strict policy of safe systems of work that can be tailored to meet any extra client requirements but, as a basic minimum, includes H&SE compliance for all equipment use.

Since launch, Matini has an accident free record amongst staff.
